DOLCE FINE GIORNATA

Storyline

Maria Linde, an independent Jewish-Polish Nobel laureate, lives in Tuscany, surrounded by warmth and chaos in her family’s villa. A loving mother and grandmother, she secretly flirts with a much younger Egyptian who runs a nearby seaside tavern. After the terrorist attack in Rome, Maria does not fall into hysteria and the anytime-immigrant mood that quickly spreads in the area. He decides, in his speech at a local celebration, to boldly denounce the violation of democracy in Europe. However, she is not prepared for the public and personal chaos her words will cause.

Movie trailer

Soundtrack

Music for the film by Jacek Borcuch – “Dolce Fine Giornata/Sweet End of the Day” is a musical story about the modern world, loneliness, impotence, fulfillment and passion written by musician and composer Daniel Bloom.

Daniel Bloom

As part of our duties as co-producer, we were responsible for the entire acquisition of copyrights and related rights to the music used in the film. In addition to Daniel Bloom’s music, the soundtrack included “La Cirque” by Isaac Dunayevsky, “La Citta Vuotta” by Mina and “It Was A Very Good Year” performed by Frank Sinatra.
